Our People

Our people are our assets, we all love what we do, and are committed to providing the industry the service that it deserves.

Fraser Gibson, Director

Fraser has been working in the offshore sector for around 14 years, and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers, and is the North East Representative for the Offshore Engineering Society. Fraser became interested in soil mechanics following a degree in mechanical engineering, and obtained an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering in 2006 from Newcastle University.

Over his career Fraser has spent valuable time in the field understanding how geotechnical data is acquired, alongside supporting design and construction projects within the offshore oil and gas and renewables sectors. Fraser spent two years establishing an office in Singapore in 2010, before returning to the UK. Fraser specialises in the design of subsea structures and supporting infrastructure, installation, and Cable Burial Risk Assessment.

Nigel Martin, Director

Nigel has been working in the sector for around 18 years, initially working offshore as a geologist on drilling operations, Nigel then obtained an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering in 2007 from Newcastle University.

Since then, Nigel has developed his experience and skills in the offshore sector working closely with Contractors and Clients to deliver robust, intelligent, and practical solutions to many of the issues facing the industry.

Nigel specialises in pipeline and cable installation and trenching, and has been heavily involved in the design and development of a number of UK Round 1 and Round 2 offshore wind farms, and is now involved with Round 3 planning as well as new developments in emerging markets including the USA and the South East Asia.
